Starting this Fall

our Keiki will be "Exploring the Bible" with our new curriculum that takes us book by book through God’s Word. As we look at the Bible from cover to cover, kids will begin to identify where the books are found in the Bible as well as what each books theme is and stories, verses, and lessons found in each book.  We offer two classes: Our preschool (age 3)-Kindergarten class offers a mix of play, bible lesson, craft/coloring, music and games.  The 1stgrade-5th grade class-is a time of Bible study where children actually open up their Bibles each week and dive into the word. Children are encouraged to bring their Bibles and earn rewards for attendance, offering and bringing their own Bibles to class.  **Please let us know if you need a Bible for your keiki and we will get one to you!

Our Mission

Kingdom Keiki molds our kids as disciples of Jesus Christ through purposeful, biblical, and dynamic teaching from the Word of God. It is our desire that your child will love coming to church and that their lives will be transformed by learning his word, applying it to their lives, and sharing God’s light with others.  “Children are a heritage from the Lord.” Psalms 127:3

Rachel Riley

Director of Children's Ministries

Rachel hails from Orange County, Ca. She grew up in San Clemente and went to California Baptist University where she received her Nursing degree. Chad and Rachel met in high school and were married in 2009, a month before Rachel started her nursing career at University of California Irvine's Medical Center. There she worked in cardiac surgery for 5 years before moving to Kona.

After moving to Hawaii in 2014, Rachel pressed pause on her nursing career to stay home with her four sons whom she homeschools. Recently, Rachel and Chad became foster parents and are excited about how God is going to use them.

The verse that drives Rachel's purpose for Children's Ministry is Matthew 19:14, “but Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." Children are incredibly important to Jesus, so serving these special children is incredibly important to Rachel.

Rachel enjoys going to the beach with her family, cooking, reading and essential oils.
