We desire to be a church that is focused on local, national and international opportunities to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in support of the Great Commission. Prayerfully, our ministry will extend beyond our local community and into global outreach. Our Missions include:
Cambodia: Raising up a church and school in Phnom Penh
Arkansas: YWAM Ozarks - Barb Nizza ministry through a DTS and missions training.
Middle East: Ariel Ministries, Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum.
The Purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "8 Recovery Principles" and the "12 Steps and their Biblical Comparisons." This experience allows us to "be changed." By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power. We meet every Friday from 6:30 - 9:30 PM at Grace Community Church, 74-4889 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona. Please call (808-326-7923) or email Les or Barb Salisbury for more information. Our goal is to introduce your children to Jesus Christ, while having a great time. Awana is divided into three time periods. Game time, Group time, and Handbook time. During game time the kids get a chance to play fun and exciting games that allow all the kids to participate no matter their skill level. Everyone plays and everyone has fun. During Group time, the kids get a chance to sing and hear from special speakers about God’s word and how they can apply it to their lives. Handbook time is when the kids get to learn and recite Bible verses in order to earn special awards and recognition. For our brochure, click here.
